Well, the start of 2025 has been a stark contrast to the start of 2024 in more ways than one. But an obvious one to all Western New Yorkers is how much colder it is than last year! Holy Moly the high temperature for our last Tuesday pick up is gonna be 8. Yes, 8. Not the low temperature (I think that will be around 0), but the high. So if you are a Winter Share member and are planning on grabbing your share on Tuesday please use caution and dress accordingly. If you are not up for it on Tuesday you can always grab your share on Thursday instead (and you don't even have to let us know; and yes the barn is minimally heated to keep things above freezing ;)
But this is the FINAL WINTER SHARE PICK UP OF THE 2024 SEASON!! Which means it is also our Annual Bulk Sale! Everyone with a Winter Share was sent an email with all the info you need to place your Bulk Sale order.
We have been using tiny weather windows when the sun is out and the temperatures are around freezing or above to harvest fresh greens for this last week! We are excited to see you all one last time before it's green again outside.
The final Winter Share will include- potatoes, squashes, cabbage, carrots, beets, radishes, turnips, celeriac, parsnips, bok choy, onions, garlic, kale, lettuce, and more!
