An Off Week for the Winter Share

We've entered the part of the season when our share distribution goes to every-other-week. So there will not be a share pick up this week for our Winter Share members.

We still have some harvesting to do this week, including the last of our storage vegetables. Then we are actually gonna get to start prepping for the Winter. Even though it's feeling like it might not snow or get cold for a while, if the lake is warm and we get a cold blast it is gonna mean feet of snow for our region. We have to prepare for that now.

**We are also starting to plan for our annual Thanksgiving Market at the Farm**

Yes! We will again open up the share room to everyone for one day of Thanksgiving shopping! We will be selling all the staples! We will have all our produce, apples from Bittner-Singer Orchards, baked goods from Savage Wheat (visit their website for pre-orders!!), and meat from Three Sisters Farm (pre-sold turkeys, plus other grab and go stuff). Make sure to support your local food system when you can, and ensure we can produce food for our region and by our region!
