Winter Share #5 of 7- 12/16+12/18: Happy Holidays!!

This week is our 5th Winter Share of 7. Though it will be the last vegetable distribution of the calendar year, it is not the last one of the farm year! We also have two more pick ups in January. The difference is we are taking two weeks off for all the holidays before we'll see everyone again in 2026!

We've been getting our fair share of Winter weather, even though the first day of Winter is the 21st. These cold blasts have been something; if not anything a blessing. It makes things more difficult for us in one sense, but we are thankful for cold weather bringing the temperature of Lake Erie down fast so we can hopefully avoid any big lake effect snow events. Also we are hoping the cold weather kills some bugs, too ;)

This weeks share will be a cheery one. It will include potatoes (yellow and blue!), winter squashes, carrots, beets, turnips, radishes, onions, celery, spinach that was outside under the snow!, kale, cabbage, bok choy, lettuce mix, butternut, garlic, and more!
