Winter Share #3 of 7- 11/19+11/21: An Epic Week

**We will be again hosting our annual Thanksgiving Market at the Farm on Tuesday the 26th from 2:00 until 5:00 (cash or check only)

We are inching our way through harvesting everything out of the big fields before the white powdery stuff shows up this year. I can count on one hand the crops left in the big field, but of course the tunnels are filled to the brim with leafy greens mostly, to be harvested all the way until the end of January.

We've cover cropped the field beds for the Winter, and are still cleaning up and completing odd jobs. We are shuffling storage crops around within their desired storage conditioned space. We are cleaning up as much as possible while also starting the 2025 season already.

This time of year is a great time for a CSA Share! The bounty is plentiful, most crops have now been frost kissed, and we haven't completely transitioned to long storage crops (tho we always have fresh greens harvested for shares thru January).

This week's share will include squashes (acorns, pumpkins, and butternut), carrots, beets, sweet potatoes, potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, salad turnips, spinach and other bunched greens, rutabaga, kohlrabi, celeriac, onions, fennel, radicchio, lettuce mix, brussels sprouts, and leeks!

Wowee! It's the last week of October and our first real freeze just happened. This means anything that can't handle being frozen just perished if it was outside last night. This includes crops, weeds,
