Winter Share #2 of 7- 11/3+11/5: Fall Back

Wowee...Halloween, Daylight Savings Time and an election all at the same time. Why not add a Winter Share pick up to your busy schedule!! This week there is another Winter Share pick up and it is the only one that is 'back-to-back' with another one. Every other share from here on out is every other week.

That being said it is gonna feel like you are getting a boat load of vegetables at one...and that's okay ;) The Winter Share starts as a 'Large' Summer Share, but ends up feeling like a 'Small' sized one because we will soon have distribution every other week. Hope that makes sense!!

As for us we are still harvesting our little tails off trying to get all the storage crops out of the field. Now that November is here we can get some good temperature plunges and even (dare I say) snow. So even though we are having an epic Fall this year we still have to be prepared for things to turn.

This week's share is still chock full of that yummy Fall veg. The share will include broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, carrots, beets, cabbage, squashes, bunched greens, fennel, onions, spinach, lettuce, and garlic!
