Week #19 of 20: 10/8+10/10- Only 2 More Pick Up Dates

That's right! We've nearly reached the end of the 'Summer Share' which starts at the end of Spring and ends in the beginning of Fall ;) We have a pick up this week and next week and then that will be a wrap for the 2024 Summer season. The Winter Share will then start the following week (the week of the 22nd and the 24th).

We are harvesting as much as we can while also getting the last of the seeds and plants in the ground for the Winter. The garlic will be planted in the next couple weeks, but the lettuce and other greens for the Winter Share will be in the ground by that time, too.

The leaves are really starting to change now, and we are crossing our fingers for a beautiful (and long lasting) Fall. It can be the best time of year.

As for the share this week, it is a bountiful one! It will include potatoes, carrots, beets, onions, cauliflower, broccoli, kohlrabi, peppers, fennel, cabbage, radicchio, bok choy, arugula, spinach, other bunched greens, and head lettuce. The Fruit Share will be apples and pears!
