Week #18 of 20: 10/1+10/3- How is it October?

Well, September just absolutely flew by. The weather has been so warm it's been difficult to even remember it's September!

Buuutttt...this also means it's renewal time for our current CSA Summer Share members. Everyone in the share was sent an email today with all the information you need to renew your share and hold your spot for next year. Please bring all your questions with you to the share barn when you pick up your next share ;)

We are working on getting the boatloads of root vegetables out of the ground and into storage before any of the white stuff even thinks about falling from the sky! Also, October 10th is our average first frost date of the Fall, so our tender crops like tomatoes, eggplant and peppers will be making their exits shortly.

This week's share will include- potatoes, carrots, beets, radishes, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, eggplant, kale, bok choy, kohlrabi, onions, arugula, spinach, tomatoes, winter squashes, and lettuce.

The fruit share will include pears, apples, and peaches (the fruit share ends next week, btw)
