Summer Share #16 of 20: 9/23+9/25 Fall Begins

We've been saying for a while that we can feel the season's changing in the air, but now they actually are. The first day of Fall is on Monday! I'm ready for pumpkin spiced everything! This also means the literal fruits of the Summertime, like tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, and zucchini are gonna start their death throes. Some petering out while others burst and bloom before a steep decline. Right now the peppers are bursting while the zucchini and farmers are petering. There are some flowers in the UPick that are great for drying, now is the time to get them.

The Fall broccoli is juuuust starting to form heads, so we are crossing our fingers for a good Fall harvest.

This week's share will include potatoes, zucchini, peppers, eggplant, carrots, beets, Fall squashes, onions, bok choy, kohlrabi, kale, celery, radishes, tomatoes and head lettuce.

The fruit share will have peaches, plums, nectarines, and organic raspberries.
