Summer Share #13 of 20: 9/1+9/3- Winter Share Sign Ups!

This week is the first week for our current members to sign up for this season's Winter Share! We just sent out emails to everyone who is currently in the Summer Share with info about how to sign up either in person or online. Payments online are only for our current members.

In other news, Labor Day is sooooo late this year! But we are still planning as usual to take the week of Labor Day off from share distribution. So this week will continue as normal, and the week after (the week of Labor Day) we will be off from distributing vegetables. We will also send out an email about that soon.

BUT the final Root Down Farm Dinner will be September 12th! So if you want to attend the dinner let us know asap ;)

So much happening, along with all the different start dates for different schools across the region! But rest assure this week's share is LOADED! It will include potatoes, summer squashes, fall squashes, cabbage, carrots, beets, peppers, eggplant, onions, kale, melons, spaghetti squash, tomatoes, head lettuce, and sweet corn! As you know we grow everything for our vegetable shares, but this week's share will include sweet corn grown for us by Ben Oles of Oles Family Farm. They grow their sweet corn the same way we do, and grew some extra this week; works out great for all of us!

The fruit share will include peaches, plums, and nectarines
