Summer Share #12 of 20- 8/26+8/28: No Worries

**REMINDER- We do not distribute shares the week of Labor Day (next week Sept. 2nd and 4th) because we take off Labor Day

Woohoo! We don't have to worry about the friggin' road this week. It's completed other than the lines are not on the road yet. We've noticed it seems like people have sped up on the new road, so drive safe and look both ways when coming to and leaving from the farm.

Things are changing quickly this week. With a big dip in temperatures and rain returning, the tomatoes and other Summer crops like zucchini and cucumbers are starting the approach to the end of their year. So, this week is a GREAT time to can or freeze or dehydrate tomatoes! Make sure to buy the tomatoes in bulk at the farm. The prices of tomatoes are supposed to be climbing at the grocery stores, so put some up now so you won't feel the increase in the Winter.

This week's share will include potatoes, spaghetti squash, kabocha squash, zucchini, summer squash, cucumber, cabbage, carrot, beets, peppers, eggplant, onions, head lettuce, cantaloupe, and tomatoes!

The Fruit Share will include peaches, nectarines, apricots, and plums
