FARM CREW MEMBER
Crew Members are involved in multiple aspects of the farm including transplanting, hand weeding, hoeing, harvesting, washing and packing produce. There is also greenhouse and high tunnel work including seeding, watering, trellising and turning beds by hand. We also have wholesale accounts which require harvest, packing and delivering for. If you have interest in or experience with tractors then you would also be helping with field prep, bed forming, transplanting, and cover cropping.
The farm work environment is uptempo and requires the physical capability to contribute daily in a rigorous, fast paced setting. Farm work is incredibly rewarding, yet physically demanding. Please consider this commitment before applying. Pay is commensurate with experience (starting at $13.00 for 2021 up to $14.50 for people with real farm experience). The season generally starts around April 1st and ends in the Fall, but the farm schedule is flexible. We have both full and part time positions available seasonally.
